Privacy -- The names of Peace Camp leaders and sponsors are disclosed on our website. We do not disclose personal information about campers, counselors, volunteers or the sources of donations. If you sign up for our newsletter, we will not share your email address or personal information with others.

Summer Day Camp Security -- Parents sign in and sign out their children at the camp. There are adult participants at the camp at all times. During the week of the camp, a paper handout is provided to parents, counselors and volunteers with contact information for the camp site, campers and their parents, counselors, volunteers, sponsors, and people or organizations making donations of goods or services to the camp.

Internet Security -- A layered approach is best to protect your security and privacy on the Internet from viruses, worms, spyware, Trojans, spam, key-loggers and other pests. Choose an Internet service provider (ISP), website hosting and/or an email service that offers online virus, spam and content filters as your first line of defense. Install a hardware router with firewall and other security features between your modem and computer or network as your second line of defense. Use personal firewall, anti-virus, anti-Trojan, anti-spyware, anti-spam and privacy software on your desktop computer as your third line of defense. After purchasing and installing security software, immediately check for updates at the vendors' websites. After installing, updating and configuring a firewall, use an online testing service to make sure that it is working correctly.
